T.Rex Sue at Chicago's Field Musuem
The mounted skull is a replica as the real one is too heavy for the support
armature. The real one is displayed nearby behind glass.
Sue is displayed in the main hall, just inside the main entrance.
The supporting frame is designed so that bones may be removed invidually
for further study without interfering with others.
Ostrich-like feet are further evidence of the bird/dinosaur connection.
Note the mysterious lesion on one tail vertebrae.
