Confidence Words |
Words can be chosen to build confidence. Persuaders often make
explicit statements, simple claims, or assertions about themselves that
they are trustworthy.
Basically, three major ideas (expertise, sincerity, benevolence)
are involved when persuaders say "Trust Me."
The emphasis can vary: authority figures may use words to stress
their expertise; friend figures may use words to stress
their sincerity and kindness.
